John Howard Tory (born May 28, 1954) is the current mayor of Toronto, where he was born.[1] He was elected in the 2014 election against Olivia Chow and Doug Ford, the other leading competitors. He succeeded Rob Ford.

In 2018, Tory was re-elected for a second time. In this election he defeated a former Chief City Planner, Jennifer Keesmaat.[2]
