Tap Roots is a 1948 American Civil War western movie directed by George Marshall and starring Van Heflin, Susan Hayward, Boris Karloff, Julie London, Whitfield Connor, Ward Bond, Richard Long, Russell Simpson. It was distributed by Universal Pictures and was based on the 1942 novel of the same name by James H. Street.
