The Senate of Jordan is the upper house of the Jordanian parliament which, along with the House of Representatives forms the legislature of Jordan.[1]

All the Senate members of the country are chosen by the king of Jordan, but must follow the terms from Constitution of Jordan. The Speaker of the Senate has a term of two years which can be renewed. A Member of the Senate though has a term of four years which can also be renewable as well.

The decisions they make are determined by the number of votes, not including the Speaker. But if there is a tie in the votes the Speaker may take a vote.[2]
