Oldest people

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a list of tables of the verified (validated) oldest people in the world in ordinal rank, such as oldest person or oldest man. In these tables, a supercentenarian is considered 'verified' if his or her claim has been validated by an international body that specifically deals in longevity research, such as the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) or Guinness World Records.

Chronological list of the oldest known living person since 1955

One of the source is Gerontology Research Group's list of the World's Oldest Person Titleholders.[13] As the oldest living person generally is a woman, a sequence of oldest women would be nearly redundant to this list. A sequence of oldest living men follows this sequence.
