Quanzhou (Chinese: 泉州; pinyin: Quánzhōu) is a prefecture-level port city on the north bank of the Jin River, in southern Fujian Province, China. It is beside the Taiwan Strait. In 2020, 8,782,285 people lived there. It was visited by both travelers Marco Polo and Ibn Battuta.
