Kymijoki

Kymijoki is a river in Finland. It is 204 kilometres (127 mi) long. It flows through the regions Päijänne Tavastia, Kymenlaakso and Uusimaa.

There are many hydroelectric power plants on the river. In the past, the river was an important way to transport wood.

The river starts from Päijänne and it flows to the Gulf of Finland.[1]
