Genre dispute

Should Metalcore be added as a genre? Lots of people, myself included, agree that Sonic Syndicate differ a lot from "regular" melodeath bands, and share lots of elements with metalcore bands. - Aeluwas 21:49, 29 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm note sure if Metalcore would be fitting though. With their newest album, they definitely drop alot of their Eden Fire style for a more clean sound. Almost like In Flames from Reroute To Remain and Soundtrack To Your Escape, where it's more influenced by Alternative metal from the United States. If you can provide other sources with different genres other than melodic death metal, then by all means add it, I mean people on the Ill Nino wiki added Thrash metal to their genres because it was listed from a source.Shatterzer0 22:26, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
