With regards to your comments on User:Mackensen/Archive10: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. WjBscribe 14:15, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please do not attack other editors, which you did here: User talk:TPIRFanSteve. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 03:25, 1 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

User:TPIRfanSteve...This user has been trolling the game show community for 7 or more years now. The whole thing started with people, such as me, calling him on his asinine remarks and flames. He has had a problem with me since. I actually haven't seen him in quite a few years, but he still holds a grudge. He appears to have some kind of mental issue. My latest revert on his page was to warn the other users that are having problems with him also. He apparently has succeeded in getting 3 people blocked from Wikipedia due to his lies to the moderators. He does this same kind of sick behavior on www.golden-road.net. And he doesn't want to comply with your rules, but I am doing so to keep the peace. Thank you! Hdayejr 16:02, 1 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
You know, I've got to admit...the comments made in the above paragraph are so far removed from reality, they actually made me laugh. -TPIRFanSteve 02:24, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Steve's libelous remarks actually started on the MacKensen archive page and were brought to my attention by somebody here in Dayton. Amazing, I wasn't even a member of Wiki at the time he slandered me. It shows you what you are dealing with, Ian. Hdayejr 04:01, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
I find myself here in a position in which I am essentially unable to make any arguments. Anything I say, regardless of its truth, could be taken as a personal attack against Mr. Hdayejr, and anything I said would inevitably reference something that took place elsewhere on the internet -- events that Mr. IanManka has stated are irrelevent to this situation.

You've ignored my warning and the warnings of others regarding personal attacks. That's just not acceptable, and this edit finishes matters. I've extended your block to a week. On reviewing your edit history at Wikipedia there's little sign you're interested in cooperative editing or abiding by our very simple rules. So the next time you abuse another wikipedian you'll be indefinitely blocked. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 00:30, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

As such, Hdayejr, since I think we can both agree based on our long, long history that we are never going to get along, and since it was already shown last summer that you were not the person who was harrassing me over the Pathfinder incident, I would suggest that in this case, we simply let bygones be bygones and agree to do our best not to step on each other's toes within the confines of this website. -TPIRFanSteve 03:00, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia operates on the principle that every contributor has a right if they wish to remain completely anonymous. Wikipedia policy on that issue is strictly enforced. Posting private information about a user with the intent to annoy, threaten or harass, specifically their (alleged) name and/or personal details, is strictly prohibited as harassment, and users who do that are often immediately blocked from editing Wikipedia. Such posting can cause offense or embarrassment to the victim of the posting, not least because it means that their name, and any personal criticism or allegations made against them can then appear on web searches.

If you have posted such information, please remove it immediately. Please then follow the link to this page and follow the instructions there, including emailing this address. It will then be removed from the archives of Wikipedia.

If you do not ensure that the personal information you posted is removed from this site you will be blocked from editing this site. Remember: Wikipedia's privacy policy is there to protect the privacy of every user, including you.

This is just to remind you that I (or anyone else on Wikipedia) don't need to know other editors' real or alleged names. User:TPIRFanSteve is getting the same notice for posting your alleged or real name. Please follow the steps outlined above so that names can be removed from the database. Thanks!

Furthermore, regarding your messages, both here and at my talk page:

  • For the one here:
    • Wikipedia has a strict policy of no personal attacks against other editors. You may want to revise your comments above if you don't want to get blocked from editing for a few days. Furthermore, a Wikipedian has written an essay about trolling that may be of interest.
  • For the one at my talk page:
    • My talk page isn't a battleground for people to trade insults and accusations. It is a place to contact me, not another user. If you wish to talk to another user, you do that on their talk page, not on someone else's. You can copy and paste the comment you wish to discuss further. Once again, do not use my talk page as a battleground, or even a place for discussion.

Please examine the links I have given you. If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 22:41, 1 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, calling another user a troll is a personal attack, and Steve has been warned in this regard. If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 01:34, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
(copy and pasted from my talk page) Send the "diffs" of the edits you want deleted to this e-mail address: oversight-l@lists.wikimedia.org . -TPIRFanSteve 02:14, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Hope that helps! If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 06:55, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Basically, it really just depends when I'm here and when I'm not. Essentially, I was only taking a short break, but that break has stretched out into a few months. But it looks like I'm slowly becoming active again. I usually try to answer all talk page questions as soon as possible (mostly because I don't like seeing that orange bar at the top of every page I look at), but sometimes I don't get online for a few days, and that's when things start to happen. I hope you can put this incident behind you and still contribute to Wikipedia. If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 17:01, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ip Attack

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. RuneWiki777 20:08, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Personal attacks

Please do not attack other editors, which you did here: User:164.156.231.55. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --omtay38 20:09, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

It would be nice if you could call the troll 164.156.231.55 an editor, but it's a troll. I won't counteract them again, but you should put a stop on THEIR VANDALISM. Hdayejr 20:15, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that everybody can edit, IP users and those with usernames alike. Yes, the edits of this IP user were vandalism. However placing a personal attack on their user page is not the way to deal with vandalism. The Administrators' noticeboard is. As I can see this is not your first time resorting to personal attracts against users, I advise that you strongly consider these warnings. Personal attacks are also vandalism. I mean not to rouse ill feelings nor aggravated emotions, I merely intend to make my intentions clear. This IP is currently blocked. If they continue to vandalize, please feel free to revert and report them. But I do ask that you refrain from personal attacks. Cheers! --omtay38 00:49, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Let's Make a Deal

I reverted your undoing of my edit to the "Episode Status" section of Let's Make a Deal. Here's why, so you can better understand why I've edited it down, with hopes that this doesn't go into an edit war. As you're probably aware, some anonymous users insist on putting these detailed summaries of every time a program has been rerun, especially if it has ever or is currently being aired on GSN, Nick GAS, etc. This information is original research, non-notable, and very prone to errors in the dates of when they were actually re-run. In addition, statements such as "they may have met the same fate as the NBC episodes" are speculation, something that is prohibited under Wikipedia:Verifiability. If you still have questions, please carefully read the links that I've put in this paragraph before reverting it again. Thanks! --Goldrushcavi 22:56, 18 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey, no problem! As I've seen alot of "trolling" on here in the recent weeks, I thought maybe your edit wasn't in "Good Faith". Given your explanation, I now know that you are a legitimate editor and will let it stand as is. It's all good. Thanks. Hdayejr 18:22, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Rich Apuzzo

Hey Hdayejr,

The edit you undid today was actually an edit made by Ruthie. She is the one who corrected the early career page to say "Rich's wife Ruthie". She emailed me about it after she changed it. I will put the edit back. Thanks for watching the page. Angelika 23 19:48, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about that, I thought maybe the Wxluffer troll was messing things up Hdayejr 19:56, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hdayejr, I could sure use some help. I had to cite better sources, (up for deletion again...) So I did, but I don't know if it is correct or not. Can you take a look and let me know what you think? Thanks -- Angelika 23 22:28, 1 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Like I've stated on the forum, I don't know what the idiots here at Wiki consider a decent page. I don't see THING ONE wrong with it myself, I think they have a vendetta against Rich for some reason Hdayejr 15:55, 2 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Discuss your edit

I invite you to discuss your recent edits to The Price Is Right (US game show) on the article's talk page. I have stated the rationale for my edits in the edit summary, but your recent edits have auto-generated edit summaries. I don't want to get into an edit war, so I ask, if you feel strongly about the value of the material you are adding, please bring the discussion to the talk page so that we can work it out. Many thanks.—Twigboy 18:43, 2 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your unneccessary editing is the problem. There is nothing to discuss, other than the fact you feel the need to imitate Steve. That is all Hdayejr 00:49, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sorry to see that you don't take advantage of the collaborative atmosphere and assume good faith. FWIW, my time is too precious to spend as a lemming; I march to my own beat, but I'm willing to consider diverse well-reasoned viewpoints expressed intelligently. I urge you to take advantage of this forum to express your views.—Twigboy 02:55, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please assume good faith in your dealings with other editors, which you did not on Talk:The Price Is Right (US game show). Please stop being uncivil to your fellow editors; instead, assume that they are here to improve Wikipedia. I have replied to your statement on Talk:The Price Is Right (US game show). While I have continued to assume good faith throughout, you have seen fit to criticize me by saying WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?, your unneccessary editing is the problem and you seem to be a rather unstable indivdual on this issue. My patience is now wearing thin and so I ask you to read WP:COOL before interacting with me or another user.—Twigboy 05:09, 5 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Edit to Fanboy

The term "fanboi" in normal use has specialized meanings which do not match those of the ordinary term "fanboy." "Fanboi" may be used to mock fanboys in certain online forums; that does not make such use encyclopedic content. --Orange Mike 16:30, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

May I ask who died and left you in charge? Hdayejr 20:17, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Nobody, of course; but standard Wikipedia practice is that claims such as this generally must have sources more notable than a bulletin board, forum, blog or Usenet posting. All I ask is that you provide a reliable source for the use of this spelling. (Although some civility and assumption of good faith are always nice. I've been a fan and gamer since the early 1970s and just want to make this project work; I certainly assume the same for you. --Orange Mike 20:28, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

WP:AIV

Thank you for making a report at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators generally only block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you. ¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:50, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bologna! Steve has been given 2 final warnings! I feel you are thumbing your nose at me. Rest assured, somebody else is submitting a report on him also. Thank you for nothing Hdayejr 23:52, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

As the issue is not simple vandalism, it is unlikely to be delt withat AIV no matter how it is submitted. I suggest you take it to WP:AN/I which is a venue where the admins can discuss the matter fully. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 23:55, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
I am not thumbing my nose. You did not give him any final warning that was issued on this date today. This is just a polite notice about it. Once you place the final warnings and if he continues to vandalize the user will be blocked if necessary. Thank you.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:56, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Just forward to a supervisor please, I don't have time for your cat and mouse games. Thank you Hdayejr 23:57, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

We are administrators. There are no supervisors on Wikipedia. Follow Theresa's advice and place your concerns on the WP:AN/I page. Thank you.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:58, 10 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Blocked

You have broken Wikipedia's 3 revert rule while edit warring on Rich Apuzzo. SO you're blocked for 24 hours. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 00:12, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

You dodged my request for libel about me to be removed. Furthermore, TPIRFanSteve has proven to be a stalker, and you are allowing it. I'd like another admin. to handle this as it appears you are not impartial to the situation. Hdayejr 00:36, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

{{unblock Furthermore, Steve just compromised my page while I tried to type a new request for unblock. Finlay needs to give this sutation to another mod as he is not impartial. Also the request for libel ABOUT ME on User:Angelika23 has been ignored also. I can legally sue for libel about me on here. You may have your rules, but I won't be libeled on a site. Please don't make legal threats. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 00:47, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Please remove the material in question then. Thank you Hdayejr 00:48, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Steve was warned by IanManka(check the history) about things on other sites not being pertinent to here. It looks like you are condoning his libel of me. It is located at this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Angelika_23 Hdayejr 00:50, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
It's not libel if it is true. Are you banned from those sites? Anyway you are writing under a pseudoname here so it's not lible as it doesn't damage your reputation. However as you find it distressing, I've removed the entire thread. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 00:56, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
You are clearly violating Wikipedia policy by asking for personal info. It doesn't matter what my name IS HERE or THERE or ANYWHERE! Ian stated Wikipedia POLICY is that anyone can remain anonymous. It's unreal that you would even ask me for such information! Unreal! Hdayejr 00:59, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'm not asking you for your real name. Just stating that he cannot libel you without stating who you are. This conversation is getting silly. I've done what you asked, so leave it at that. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 01:12, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
How about blocking TPIRFanSteve from my page so I don't have to edit his garbage every few hours too...is there a way I can protect this page? Thanks Hdayejr 01:16, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Just stop reading it. You've been blocked for a week. Come back after a week and revert anything you like from it then. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 01:18, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'll just request another unblock, as there is more than enough evidence to constitute that this block is laughable at best, and there were other factors and people that caused the said events to transpire. I won't let it get vandalized for a week. Furthermore, I'll find Wiki's telephone information and contact them first thing Monday. Hdayejr 01:20, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Another unblock requst will certainly be declined. Actually I can protect the page for a week, but that would mean that you cannot edit it either. Would you like me to do that? Theresa Knott | The otter sank 01:24, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
No thanks, I'll decline that. I need a place to report issues when Steve starts his libeling of me again(which will happen tonight I'm sure). Unless there is an email for Wiki? Oh and another thing, I emailed the diff. of that stuff you removed as I don't want that turning up in a search. I already had that email address. Thank you

Request reason:

I feel the block being extended to a week is definitely unfair. There are many circumstances(including other users who should be blocked and haven't been due to stalking me via my watchlist which lead to this mess anyhow) that caused these issues. Yes, the fact I told another user to get the h off my page was the reason it was extended, but yet, said user TPIRFanSteve was allowed to continue his torrent of attacks via my talk page. It appears that the initial admin. Finaly McWalter is friends with TPIRFanSteve and Orangemike, therefore, I would appreciate this whole fiasco being reviewed at once. Anybody with common sense can that it was not one sided, and there are others getting away with rule violations that haven't had any repercussions issued to them. As far as Finlay's snide remarks about me not being a constructive editor, that is bs at best. I have done several edits on this site without any issues from the aforementioned trolls. So, before an admin. shoots his mouth off, he should check the facts first. Thank you Hdayejr 14:35, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
