Template:Infobox Irish Place Donagh (Irish: Domhnach) is a small village in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, between Lisnaskea and Newtownbutler. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 255 people. It is in the Fermanagh District Council area.
Local Interests
There are local tales of a long history of aggressive sheep in this area. This is believed to have been caused by a curse laid down by St. Patrick for being refused a lamb meal by the landlord of the time, when he visited the area and founded the church many years ago. There is a local legend of men being killed by their herds in the past, and the superstitions drawn from these stories are thought to contribute to the complete lack of any sheep farmers within, and around a considerable radius of Donagh.
