The AT-RT is a vehicle from the fictional Star Wars universe.
A one-man bipedal walker, used for reconnaissance and patrols. One of several precursors to the AT-ST walker. It came equipped with a repeating-blaster cannon and sensor equipment which made it capable of providing Forward Command Centers a better overview of the battlefield.
It´s open cockpit-design made the driver especially vulnerable to sniper fire, but the low costs seemed to make up for its shortcomings,but this was seen as no threat in the Battle of Kashyyyk because droid snipers were too vulnreble due to the incredible range of the Wookie long-gun.
Participated in many conflicts during the Clone Wars, most notably the Battle of Kashyyyk.
This walker appeared in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
