Samm Sinclair Baker

Samm Sinclair Baker (born in Paterson, New Jersey, July 29, 1909March 5, 1997) was the author/coauthor of many how-to and self-help books, most notably The Complete Scarsdale Medical Diet which he coauthored with Dr. Herman Tarnower. Mr. Baker also wrote "Your Key To Creative Thinking," then and now one of the most interesting, comprehensive, and simple of all books on this subject.

The Complete Scarsdale Medical Diet followed the bestselling successes The Doctor's Quick Weight Loss Diet (with Dr. Irwin Maxwell Stillman) and The Doctor's Quick Inches-Off Diet (also with Dr. Stillman).

He was one of the original founders of Stern's Nurseries, developers of Miracle-Gro, and authored several books on gardening.

Baker died in Port Chester, New York in 1997. [1]
