The Much Honoured (abbreviated as The Much Hon.) is an honorific prefix that is given to Scottish feudal Barons and Lairds (Lords) in the United Kingdom[1]
Entitlement
- Scottish Feudal Barons, (eg, The Much Honoured Baron of Edinburgh)
- Lairds, (eg. The Much Honoured John Smith of Edinburgh, or The Much Honoured The Laird of Edinburgh, or The Much Honoured The Laird John Smith of Edinburgh).
- Barons, Viscounts and Earls are The Right Honourable
- Dukes are The Most Noble or His Grace
