Shenzhou 8

Shenzhou 8 (Chinese: 神舟八号) will be People's Republic of China's fourth human spaceflight. The aim of the mission is to rendezvous and dock with a small unmanned spacecraft that will be launched before the flight. This spacecraft will be a mini version of the planned Chinese space station.

The Chief Designer of the Shenzhou spacecraft has said that by Shenzhou 8 the basic design of the spacecraft should have been fixed after the 7 previous flight.

Western Observer is believed that China is planning to sent there first woman into space on the Shenzhou 8 mission but China has not confirmed this rumor.
