Kannadasan is well known for his simple and philosophical poetry. He has written many of the tamil songs for tamil movies. Not only was he immensely talented, he was also impressively spontaneous. People that have met him claim that he used to sign tamil couplets composed then and there as autographs.All his songs have beautiful philosophical insights.
