Allan Paul Bakke (born 1940) was a medical student in the United States, most famous as a plaintiff in the court case Regents of the University of California v. Bakke.

Bakke applied to the University of California at Davis Medical School and was denied admission. The school at the time had a racial quota system, setting aside a specific number of seats for African-American applicants. Bakke, a white student, was subject to a different set of requirements than black students. Bakke sued, claiming the University racially discriminated against him. For the details of the trail and the repercussions, see Regents of the University of California v. Bakke.
