CBCT is the call sign for the CBC's television station in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, broadcasting on terrestrial channel 13 and local cable channel 11.
Prince Edward Island was the last province in Canada to get dedicated CBC Television service. CBCT first went on the air on July 1, 1956 as CFCY-TV, under the ownership of Island Radio Broadcasting (owned by the family of Col. Keith Rogers); CBC bought the station in 1968 and recalled it CBCT on August 1 of that year, as the province's small population did not warrant a second television station on the Island.
CBCT acts as a semi-satellite station of CBHT. The Canada Now anchor in Charlottetown is Bruce Rainnie. Broadcaster Mike Duffy began his career at CBCT.
CBCT is also the call sign for CBC Radio One's FM station in Charlottetown, broadcasting on 96.1 FM.
CBCT has two rebroadcasters, serving the rural portions of Prince Edward Island:
- Elmira - 11
- St. Edward - 4
