Renegade Ops is a top-down vehicle-based shooter with role-playing elements developed by Avalanche Studios and published by Sega for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Renegade Ops was announced on March 30, 2011,[1] and released on September 13, 2011 for PlayStation 3 and September 14, 2011 for Xbox 360.[2][3] The Microsoft Windows version of the game was released on October 26, 2011.[4]

The gameplay trailer was released on May 17, 2011.[5]
The Steam version included Valve Corporation's Gordon Freeman from the Half Life series as an additional bonus character.[6]
As of 2011, the game sold over 25,000 copies on Xbox Live Arcade.
The game currently holds an 81 and 80 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Metacritic, respectively, indicating generally positive reviews.[7]
