Doctor's Advocate is the forthcoming sophomore album by West Coast rapper The Game to be released November 14 2006 (November 13 in the UK). Doctor's Advocate is a reference to rap pioneer Dr. Dre who essentially "found" The Game, according to The Game himself. The album is has many of the same producers that his first album did, including Kanye West and Just Blaze.
The album was originally intended by The Game to be released on June 6, 2006. It had been delayed several times for further work. Since then, The Game has switched from his former label, Aftermath Entertainment to Geffen Records in order to be completely disconnected from 50 Cent and G-Unit.[1]
The street single from the album, "It's Okay (One Blood)", was released on July 24 2006. Following its release, the rapper collaborated with his photographer and personal friend Jonathan Mannion to create a video for the song. On September 20, 2006, 93.5 KDAY, an FM radio station in South Los Angeles, premiered The Game's second single, Let's Ride (Strip Club).
The album was leaked to the Internet and file sharing programs October 30, 2006
