German ancestry
editDoes anyone have a source that she's of significant German ancestry? I've removed the category until someone provides one. JackO'Lantern 05:16, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
wrong link
editin filmography the 2013 movie 'Storm Rider' links and redirects to 'The Grand Duel' from 1972 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.63.1.2 (talk) 07:59, 22 September 2014 (UTC)
Ukarumpa Alumni
editI have heard somewhere that Kristy's parents were Missionaries in Ukarumpa, Papua New Guinea and that she is also an alumni of Ukarumpa High School.

I stand corrected - she is the niece of a former UHS teacher and was never at Ukarumpa.

editThis article needs work on :tone, OR, sourcing, the lead, weasel words, and various other MoS issues. Quadzilla99 11:14, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
- "Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which was a box office bomb" is questionable, from what I can see the film did make more than double it's production cost during it's theatrical release. Kid Bugs (talk) 13:59, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
no offense but this is wrong
editsorry but that's all wrong because she played in Buffy the vampire slayer , sorry people. (Treetalker12 (talk) 20:43, 19 May 2009 (UTC))
Orange County Choppers
editI saw Kristy on this show asking Paul, Sr to make a bike for charity to represent the Iraq Star Program that does corrective surgery on Iraq War vets. Someone might want to research that and put a section in the article. --THE FOUNDERS INTENT PRAISE 02:24, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Article is terrible and even noted by Swanson herself as "not really accurate," (via Twitter).
editA huge portion of the article can be eliminated because the statements are repeated under Films and Television. Let's look at this entire paragraph under the Career section (by the time you read this it is probably gone, so I'll post it here):
- “On May 8, 2007, Swanson appeared in the Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode "Bombshell," playing a fictionalized variation on Anna Nicole Smith.”
- That entire paragraph is unnecessary.
- The date is already here on wikipedia: Season 6, episode 20. Anyone who is interested in the exact date will indeed look there.
- This part: “... a fictionalized variation on Anna Nicole Smith.” should have been (and will be) recorded in the notes column which is on the same row as the said episode of the Television table.
Voila! No paragraph needed.
These should have been addressed under the Television section (again, and will be). Please see my edits under the View History tab. The point is that editors need to look at the full article before adding anything to see if the content is either a repeat of information or can be added in another location rather than just writing a one-sentence paragraph. which is just bad grammar for articles.
Finally, the article reads like a resume rather than an article about her. Does anyone disagree? MagnoliaSouth (talk) 20:53, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
DOB
editI see we have editors continuing to add date of birth with no sources. Please try to find a reliable source so we don't have to keep removing it. It shouldn't be that hard to find. —Confession0791 talk 13:46, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for posting that comment, Confession0791. Such sourcing should be a basic component of Wikipedia biographies. I don't know why so many articles about living people have dates of birth with no citations to support them. Eddie Blick (talk) 02:13, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
