Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Sanankuya has been reverted.
Your edit here to Sanankuya was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpjgD_zV0IY) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Hello

edit

Hi,

I noticed a linguistic change you made recently on the Griot article and became interested. I am working on the skeleton of an article right now, User:Jacqke/Traditional African lutes which will involve words in several African languages. I have zero knowledge of these languages. Once I have this finished (may take a long time), would you be interested in looking to see if your skillset would apply?

I've worked with other editors before for Chinese related articles and was glad that I did. I found out just how far off translation can be. I'm sure the same will be true here.

Best wishes, Jacqke (talk) 19:37, 11 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello!
Thanks for reaching out. I can certainly have a look if you finish something, but I am not a expert in the Manding music traditiona by any means. I am specialist of Manding language varieties like Bambara, Jula and Maninka though, so if there's a specific question about spelling for instruments in that tradition, I might be able to help.
