If you can find a valid tag that expresses why Image:Megan.png can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the {{pd-self}} tag that you have placed on it with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{non-free fair use in|article name that the image is used in}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the image. If the image has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it. However, you must not remove the speedy deletion notice. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia. —C.Fred (talk) 02:29, 28 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:MeganMason.png

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:MeganMason.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:
