Disambiguation link notification
[edit]Hi. When you recently edited Rudolf Hess, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Holy Island (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Stower image for German_submarine_Deutschland
[edit]There is a W. Stöwer image that would be great for the German_submarine_Deutschland article, relating to her 1916 Baltimore mission.
IMAGE: http://www.cityofart.net/bship/smu_deutschland.jpg
FROM: http://www.cityofart.net/bship/u_boat_gallery.html#depictions
ASSOCIATED TEXT: "Here she is seen on return to Bremen in 1916, laden with supplies valued at over $1M from German businessmen in Baltimore."
I don't have upload access, and could also use this image relating to Stöwer. This image is clearly PD, the artist being deceased 70+ years. If you could upload this, please let me know on this talk page. (I am temporarily using IP: 98.26.28.41 (talk) 00:42, 29 April 2012 (UTC))
Another good PD image from Stöwer relating to SM_U-9

Hello, Please, Who is Count Mere in the text: "a letter from Count Mere, who, about to be executed, commended his wife and children to the care of the doctor."? Thanks.--Parsedan (talk) 16:59, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
- All that is known is that he was an aristocratic friend of the Doctor. Salmanazar (talk) 20:02, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. I think he was Comte de Méré--Parsedan (talk) 20:54, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, it is definitely the same person, so I have amended the article accordingly. Thanks! Salmanazar (talk) 21:20, 19 April 2013 (UTC)

Rude
[edit]They where justified in the edits it is you that has no justification for your edits or you patronizing comments on my talk page. I suggest you read the Wikipedia guides yourself before I report you for vandalism. Don't contact me again and do not vandalise be reading unreferenced claims.--Kitchen Knife (talk) 21:18, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
- Your so-called "edit" rendered a previously well-formed paragraph ungrammatical and nonsensical. How is that not vandalism? Report me if you like, you ill-natured troll; unlike you I don't have an extensive history of poorly-executed edits and abuse of other editors. Salmanazar (talk) 21:25, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
Linking to copyright violations
[edit]Hi there. I saw that you recently added two links to Hardware (film). The problem is that these links illegally reproduce a copyrighted comic strip in its entirety. As such, they are unusable as citations in Wikipedia. Please do not restore them. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 18:29, 22 July 2015 (UTC)
Bad link?
[edit]On the EKR page there's a passage that says "based on B. Chertok's elaboration of the German R-13 cruise missile design". This is linked to the R-13 (missile) page, which is about a Soviet SLBM. I assume this link is wrong, but I can't find anything about any German R-13. Any pointers? Maury Markowitz (talk) 22:26, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
- Hello Maury. Thanks for the heads-up. Apologies for the delay in replying. It looks like someone tried to be helpful by linking to the Soviet R-13... which is definitely not right. The R-13 (aka G-1M) in question was a German proposal to augment an R-10 rocket with the A-4's propulsion system. Salmanazar (talk) 12:59, 31 August 2015 (UTC)

The article Luck (short story) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JavaHurricane 12:21, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
