Fred Dagg is a fictional archetype satirist from New Zealand created by John Morrison Clarke. In the 1970s Clarke moved from New Zealand to Australia, depriving New Zealanders of their stereoype farmer, singlet-clad, gumboot-obsessed and Trev-attended.
