The 2006 Wake Forest Demon Deacons football team represented Wake Forest University during the 2006 NCAA Division I-A football season . The team's head coach was Jim Grobe . During the 2006 season, the Demon Deacons finished the regular season as the Atlantic Coast Conference champions, winning the Atlantic division, then defeating Georgia Tech in the ACC title game.
