The 2021 Detroit mayoral election is an upcoming election that is scheduled for November 2, 2021.

The election will be preceded by a nonpartisan primary if more than two candidates are on the ballot.

On December 9, 2020, incumbent mayor Mike Duggan announced his intention to run for reelection to what would be a third consecutive term.[1]
