Tomás Carrasquilla (January 17 1858 - December 19 1940) was a writer from Colombia. He was born in Santo Domingo, Antioquia. Although a well-known Colombian novelist, Carrasquilla did not begin his writing career until after his study of law at Antioquia University was interupted by the Colombian Civil War. He died in Medellín.

Carrasquilla's most famous works all focused on the people of his native Antioquia, accurately protraying their daily lives and customs. Some of his best-known works are: La marquesa de Yolombó, Salve, Regina, Luterito, Frutos de mi tierra (1896; his first publication), and San Antoñito. He became blind in his later years although he managed to complete what some critics believe to be his best work, Hace tiempos, through dictation in 1936.
