Chittarkottai is a big village (Major Panchayat) in Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu, India. Its latitute and longitude are: 9°25'42.75"N / 78°53'58.81"E. It consists 7 villages around and most of the people working abroad. The village is governed locally by Muslim Dharma Paripalan Sabah. Most of the cases are settled by MDPS peacefully.
