DD DIRECT+ is a Direct To Home (DTH) television service in India, run by the state owned broadcaster Doordarshan. The service offers all Doordarshan channels, along with a few private satellite television channels. This service is entirely free except for the initial cost of equipment. Doordarshan claims that 2 million boxes have been sold so far. Several thousand set top boxes have been distributed free to various panchayats, village schools and hospitals.

The DD DIRECT+ platform carries 37 free-to-air television channels including 19 Doordarshan channels, 18 private television channels and 20 audio channels of All India Radio and other radio stations, and is likely to include more channels in the future. There are a few test channels that run from Test 1 to Test 20, though for the moment only Doordarshan regional channels are being shown on them. The satellite earth station for uplink of signals is in Delhi. NSS-6 is the high power Ku-band satellite hosting the Doordarshan DTH services.
