Arriva Tower project

The Arriva Towers are a complex of three residential towers in Calgary, Alberta.

The high rise condominiums are built in Victoria Park, a historic neighbourhood in Calgary's Beltline District, north of the Stampede Grounds and Pengrowth Saddledome arena. The glass and steel skyscraper will feature brick and sandstone finish at the base, to reflect the architectonic style of the surrounding historic buildings.

The towers have 32 to 42 storeys, making them the highest residential buildings in Alberta.[1] The 42 storeys towers (Arriva 2 and 3) will reach a height of 156m (512 ft). Tower 1, in construction as of 2006, with 35 floors, will reach a height of 128 m (418 ft).[2]

Groundbreaking took place on April 26, 2005[3], and the first phase tower is scheduled for occupancy in January 2007. The base of the buildings will contain commercial space, including two restaurants, while the surrounding area will consist of public parks, shops and recreation spaces.[4]

The buildings were designed by BKDI Architects, and developed by Torode Residential Ltd.
