Wikipedia:Top 10 Google hits, A-K
The following is an incomplete list of wikipedia articles which are in the top 10 results of a search on Google. (That is, searching for the title of the article by itself shows these articles on the first page of results; often this is even the case if one searches for the words in the title instead of for the phrase). Many of these articles are the #1 or #2 hit, though not all are marked as such. Approximately 1 in 20 Wikipedia pages (disregarding dates and order of magnitude pages) are indexed by Google in the top ten.
This list is here not merely as a means to pat ourselves on the back - though some of the articles warrant it - but as a means to call our attention to high-profile articles. Are they accurate? Are they neutral? Are they thorough? Are they well-linked with other articles?
Feel free to add new articles to this list. If you do, please be sure to add the appropriate Google search URL.
