Fun and Fancy Free is a 1947 package film produced by Walt Disney and released by RKO Radio Pictures.

The live-action wraparounds feature Edgar Bergen, who, with the help of his ventriloquist's puppets Charlie McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd, tells child actress Luana Patten two fanciful stories, deicted in animation, at her birthday party:

  • Bongo the story of a circus bear cub.
  • Mickey and the Beanstalk, a retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy as peasants who discover tempermental Willie the Giant's castle in the sky through the use of some magic beans. Mickey and the Beanstalk was originally planned as a full-legnth feature, but plans for it were cut back during World War II.

Jiminy Cricket also appears during the live-action segments; the animated character is added into the scenes using special effects.
