The Central Pastoral Region is one of the five pastoral regions of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston in the Roman Catholic Church. It covers the cities of Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville, and the towns of Brookline and Winthrop in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The current regional auxiliary bishop is the Most Rev. Robert Francis Hennessey. The region has 64 parishes, 6 high schools, 29 elementary schools, 1 hospital, and 4 cemeteries. The region is composed of 4 Vicariates.
