The Rangers appear in the last issue of the crossover Civil War, in which it seems they have been reincorporated as the state superteam for Texas. The original five members have been joined by the Armadillo, a reformed supervillain. Tom Brevoort, a Marvel editor, has promised that they will appear in The Initiative, a miniseries which will follow up on Civil War.
