Microwave oven

A Microwave oven is a kitchen appliance employing a beam of microwaves to cook food.

It consists of

• a magnetron control circuit (usually with a microcontroller),
• a magnetron,
• a waveguide, and
• a cooking chamber.

Microwaving food is fast and popular, but there are hazards because food is often cooked unevenly. For this reason, many ovens also have automatic 'stirrers'.
