Abbeybufo is the username of the Membership Secretary of the UK Elsie J Oxenham Society. I am also a past editor of the Abbey Chronicle, the journal of that Society.

As well as my interest in EJO, I have an MA in Regional & Local History and Archaeology, with a particular interest in the archaeology of Medieval Buildings.

In addition I am a published writer on the history of Children's Literature, most recently Winning Books ISBN 0-954638-45-X (Pied Piper Publishing[1], 2005) on the history of Children's Book Awards (Newbery Medal, Caldecott Medal and their equivalents all over the English-Speaking world)

2007 is the centenary year of Elsie Oxenham's first book Goblin Island which is to be reprinted by Girls Gone By with an intro by me.
