.07% is the nineteenth episode in the NBC drama series Heroes. Some sources note this episode name as "0.070000000000000006661338147750939242541790008544921875". This episode starts the final "pod" of first season episodes.

Plot

Nathan and Linderman discuss Nathan's future and the prophesied explosion.[1] Sylar and Peter face off.

Linderman states to Nathan Petrelli that he and others before them also have powers and some got greedy and others lost their way. Then Linderman drops a bombshell, literally and figuratively: the explosion is to be the catalyst for a better future. When Nathan wonders out aloud about the cost in lives, Linderman counters, “There’s six and a half billion people on the planet, that’s less than .07%. Come on, that’s an acceptable loss by anyone’s count.”

At a panel for the Museum of Television and Radio's William S. Paley Festival in Hollywood on March 10, Kring unveiled a long scene from the next new episode, ".07," featuring McDowell's Linderman speaking with Adrian Pasdar's Nathan Petrelli. Among other things, viewers learn that Linderman has super powers of his own, that he was once a member of a group of heroes, that the members of the group eventually used their powers for personal gain—and that he is behind the plot to blow up New York as a way to engender widespread fear, which he believes will bring the nation together in hope. Linderman also reveals a prophecy that Nathan will eventually wind up in the White House.
