Narre Warren, Victoria

Narre Warren is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Casey. Over the years Narre Warren has grown from a semi-rural residential town to an important centre of a major growth corridor in the South-East of Melbourne. In recent years Narre Warren has expanded dramatically, with a multitude of housing developments connecting the suburb to neighbouring suburbs such as Berwick and Cranbourne. Approximately eight houses are being built every day in the area. The population mostly consists of middle-class young families. The main shopping centre is Westfield Fountain Gate (named after one of the earlier subdivisions). It is one of the largest shopping centres in Australia, being home to almost all major Australian retailers.
