Jirō Akagawa

Akagawa Jiro (赤川次郎) is a Japanese novelist, known best for his humorous mysteries. He was born in 1949 in Fukuoka Prefecture. His first novel, Ghost Train, was published in 1976. Other works of his, Incident in the Bedroom Suburb and Voice from Heaven, were later made into anime.
