Mitch Hedberg
Mitch Hedberg (24 February 1968 is a stand-up comedian known for his odd subject matter, unique delivery, and routines which frequently jump from one subject to another very quickly and without transition. His bits are usually very short and often consist of a single one-line non sequitur ("Dogs are forever in the push-up position").
He began his career playing open microphone nights in South Florida. Two years later, in 1991, he moved to Seattle and began doing the same there, where he began to become more well received. It took him more than a few years to come up with a good deal of material, and he also needed to conquer his stage fright, which was so intense it has left a mark on him all through his career. Hedberg has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman 10 times, and has become one of the most popular American comedians.
