Simmer Down was the second single released by Bob Marley and the Wailers (Peter Tosh & Bunny Livingstone). Recorded as The Wailers, the single was not permitted radio airplay in Jamaica due to the reputation that Bob Marley and friends had, so it wound up having it's first hearing on one of the sound systems of the day.
