Ben is 9 years old and lives in Bournemouth, where he attends Winton Primary School. Since the age of 3, Ben has been studying dance, and more recently drama, at The Stage Door School of Dance and Drama in Bournemouth. Ben made his professional stage debut at the age of 6, when he appeared as a mini "Bobby Ball" opposite the real Cannon and Ball at the Pavilion Theatre in Bournemouth. He then went on to play Tiny Tim in a musical version of Scrooge with a local professional theatre company. Following a number of other local stage appearances, including playing a Munchkin in The Wizard of Oz and William Page in an open-air production of The Merry Wives of Windsor, Ben was chosen to play Michael Darling, alongside Matthew Kelly in a Michael Rose production of the musical Peter Pan at the Lighthouse Theatre in Poole. Ben can also be seen playing the role of Andrew in the new CBBC drama The Playground. When not attending dance or drama lessons, Ben enjoys playing the piano, clarinet and drums, and listening to many different kinds of music. He also enjoys athletics, cricket and tennis. He also played michael banks in the musical of mary poppins in the west end.
