pashtuns(descendents) are large in numbers at least 3-4 crore in northern India. Maharahstra,gujarat,uttar pradesh,bihar has pashtuns in large numbers. they speak urdu and pashto.

No Pathan speaks Pashto anymore, the only Pathans that did were the ones who began the Kashmir dispute. --108.173.174.134 (talk) 06:19, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
