Cleanup January 2006

[edit]

Recent anon editions need a good clean up. Perhaps even moving some of the info to Argentine economic crisis (1999-2002). Pablo, come back from your vacations!! Mariano(t/c) 07:32, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, I came back almost six months ago and saw this just now. I've removed some weasely statements, but others need sources if they're going to be kept. It's very complicated to follow the history of the corralito and the corralón, so please help. If you think there's something else to clean up, be my guest. —Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 23:31, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well it does look much better. Mariano(t/c) 09:47, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Transition from Corralito to Corralon

[edit]
We need more information regarding what turned the Corralito to the Corralón; how the two were different; the economic impact of the whole affair; etc. Also, I would like to see some more on their history respective history and how the upper class felt about the whole affair. Was this a policy that as a whole was hated and despised by the Argentines, or was there an elite group patricians who either liked/profited from this affair. Did any profiteering occur?
These are all things I would like for you all to consider for inclusion. Normally I would go ahead, WP:BB, and write about it... ...but seeing as my opinions are Argentinean to the core (albeit having been born in Pittsburgh, PA :-P), it would not be within Wiki-N:POV's interest for me to contribute to this article...

... That is unless you are willing to tag this article with "Neautrality" tags :-D --Absolutecaliber 13:08, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We'll see when that time comes, no? I tried to gather data about this but all I got was many short newspaper articles without details, never a good general overview. If you have better sources, let us see them. We can collect data and work on a draft version here, or maybe in a subpage; feel free to create /Draft if you don't want to be bold yet. :) Remember we need to be neutral and avoid original research, so we can't write an essay about this, just cite what others have written. —Pablo D. Flores (Talk) 14:12, 17 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have split the article into Corralito and Corralón. It is the only way it can improve as this article was mixing the two. Still a lot of work to do. --Neo139 (talk) 07:46, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong in phonetic

[edit]

Corralito, in spanish "rr" is pronounced as a vibrating or trilling r. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.15.6.162 (talk) 23:24, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
