Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so. According to what I know, the only country who ever (shortly) issued platinium coinage was imperial Russia in the 1830's and 1840's. Sept., 5th 2007. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.231.21.240 (talk) 13:48, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
