Bare ware

This term appears in the lead but I have no idea what it is. Searching Wp doesn't find much. Google finds this article as one of the leading hits. Is it possible that "barware" is what is meant? ++Lar: t/c 18:49, 28 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
