Why was it numbered odd if it runs west to east?

So the numbering of major highways and routes is set up so that odd numbers run north/south while even numbers run west/east. Explain why rte 19 runs W/E. 149.75.188.8 (talk) 17:19, 24 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
