Re-newed?

[edit]

On imdb it says 1999-2008. Does that mean it's been re-newed or that it's coming back? Or is that just because it's being released on tv one? Tydamann (talk) 22:46, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Haiti Lady's last name

[edit]

Where is there any reference, other than this site, for Haiti Lady having the surname "DuPris"? Any references anywhere else all refer to her as only "Mambo Garcelle".

Back on the air

[edit]

I heard that the show is now back on the air, on TV One. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mitchellandness1 (talkcontribs) 06:03, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cancelled

[edit]

The show was cancelled for high budget, right? It probably costs a lot to make the models of the characters in the showe. --Chris Brown's boo 02:15, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And Eddies checks no doubt...

I'd heard the same thing -- it got cancelled because it was too expensive to make. And yeah, I bet Eddie Murphy's paycheck was at least a third (and that's a conservative guess) of the production cost. He's an egomaniac. --Ragemanchoo (talk) 12:13, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DVD

[edit]

Is there any plan to release the show on DVD? If so, when? ===From New Olreans=== WHEN????

I was wondering the same thing!! :( The whole series would fit in one DVD case, too. Anybody know any details? --Ragemanchoo (talk) 12:14, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Accurate?

[edit]

Article reads: Michele Morgan plays Juicy. How accurate is this? IMDB doesn't mention it and not that this actress couldn't do the voice for Juicy, it's highly unlikely. Is perhaps this a mistake that it's linked to the wrong person/article? 63.131.4.149 (talk) 22:10, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind: I fixed this after just a few moments of "research". This is a different Michele Morgan so I removed the [[ ]] 's from Michele Morgan since it links to the wrong one [1]. According to TV Guide.com, Sharique was voiced by Michele Morgan. [2][3] Juicy was also voiced by this person [4] but not the Michele Morgan that was referenced in the article (veteran actress) but rather a male actor/producer as mentioned on Yahoo! TV and IMDB. [5] [6]. The Michele Morgan this article linked to had ~ over the first e in her name as well. No article exists for the other (any other) Michele Morgan that I can find. 63.131.4.149 (talk) 22:23, 18 March 2009 (UTC) 63.131.4.149 (talk) 22:31, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Accurate, part II: Entry appears in a shows-set-in-Detroit category, but text mentions New York City. Is someone kicking Detroit while it's down? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.184.0.78 (talk) 03:33, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

According to the shows original website in 1999, it said the setting took place in Detroit, modeled after the famous Brewster-Douglass Housing Projects. 99.60.43.58 (talk) 03:16, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disney's first adult animated series?

[edit]

I'm sure the PJs was the first time Disney produced an adult animated series, even though it was not aired on ABC or produced at Disney Television Animation. Or did ABC Studios (formerly Touchstone Television) produce an adult animated series BEFORE the PJs? --73.6.75.134 (talk) 18:14, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
