List

[edit]

Are there any lists of Anglican theological colleges? SteveH 18:30, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Location

[edit]

I'm just passing through, geotagging Kent articles and I don't pretend to know much about this stuff. Am I right that the college occupied the NW corner of the Abbey site around the Great Gate? 86.27.171.145 (talk) 21:03, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Section added on Global Majority students

[edit]

I am Ralph Norman based at Canterbury Christ Church University. I have just added a new section on Global Majority students and added links to a number of sources, two of which were co-authored by a colleague and myself for the St Augustine's Foundation website. Please review the relevant section.

Some of the new names added are of historical importance. Some could be added to the alumni list. I would like to know what others think.

I note that the Wikipedia page is titled St Augustine's College (Kent). At an earlier stage it was St Augustine's College (Canterbury). Was there a reason for the change from Canterbury to Kent? Many of the relevant records from the 19th and early 20th centuries (e.g., Boggis) refer to it as St Augustine's College, Canterbury. I think there is a case to revert to the original (Canterbury) title. Do people have views on this? Montagu Burrows (talk) 09:37, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
