Images
Hi, thanks for your edits, but I'm afraid I've had to remove the images you've uploaded. Please could you read the fair-use policy. We only use images under fair use in certain specific situations, and pictures of consumer electronics devices don't fall under it. — Matt Crypto 19:18, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
- Please listen to the other editors. To claim fair use on images you have to justify why you think you can claim fair use. On the "Digital audio player" article we have free images, so not only are the fair use images not needed, they cannot be justified. See Help:Image page#Fair use rationale. AlistairMcMillan 20:39, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
- BTW Can you please tell us where you found this image. Image:Lg shine.jpg It doesn't look like a publicity shot. AlistairMcMillan 20:41, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

- That's nice. But where did YOU find it? Did it come from their website, from a review on another website, from Flickr? Where. Please give us the exact URL where you found the image. If you don't the image will be deleted. AlistairMcMillan 20:57, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Iriver
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page Iriver do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Natalie 02:45, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to iriver. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Thank you. Natalie 02:51, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- This is NOT promotional. Someone may want this information.. and this hide URL is not AD BANEER. and According to wiki rule. there is NO rule 'no english URL must remove'. and i already told you this is NOT promotional. and that HIDE LINK is NOT shopping site and DO NOT SELL other country. bcz, that link product is PROTOTYPE. not product. didn't you know CES2007?)
- Please read every point in this section: WP:EL#Important_points_to_remember and all of WP:EL#Foreign-language_links. You are obviously adding an excessive amount of links to one company and are adding foreign language links where they are not necessary. I'm not sure what this means: "this hide URL is not AD BANEER"; please clarify. Natalie 03:21, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- WP:EL#Important_points_to_remember <- i read this. 'english URL must remove'? No. N/A.
- and i read this, too. WP:EL#Foreign-language_links ok. see. 1. Links should be kept to a minimum. A lack of external links, or a small number of external links is not a reason to add external links. <- N/A
- 2. Rather than creating a long list of external links, editors should consider linking to a related category in the Open Directory Project (also known as) that is devoted to creating relevant directories of links pertaining to various topics. If there is no relevant category, you can request help finding or creating a category by placing on the article's talk page. <- N/A
- 3. Try to avoid linking to multiple pages from the same website; instead, try to find an appropriate linking page within the site. <- N/A
- no problem.
- Exactly, external links should be kept to a minimum. Adding seven links to the same site is unecessary and there is no reason to have a link to a non English site. Natalie 03:31, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- And I don't know what this means: "'english URL must remove'? No. N/A." Please explain. Natalie 03:32, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- then, you must reduce Link. why do you DELETE ALL LINK? stop vandalism. if you continue vandalism.(remove all link) then, i will report admin.

- I don't see anything wrong with linking to iriver's presentation at CES, the industry's biggest trade show. New contributors are our most valuable resource. We must treat newcomers with kindness and patience. Yakuman (数え役満) 03:32, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- Absolutery Right.
- I'm not intending to bite, although I think there is a language barrier here that is impeding conversation. Please consolidate the links into one link to the site, and mark it with a language flag. Natalie 03:47, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

vandalism garbage attack from Phonemonkey, once more
Please indicate in which edit I broke WP:Vandalism, using diffs. If you can't, then I will delete the above warnings in the assumption that the warnings were only placed there in retaliation for me posting legitimate warnings on your talk page about editing other people's comments on Talk:Koror-Babeldaob Bridge link you did here and here. Phonemonkey 15:46, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
