A Tree Grows In Guadalajara is expected to be the twenty-second episode from the dramedy series Ugly Betty, which is scheduled to air on May 10, 2007. Originally this was supposed to be the season finale, but ABC extended its full season order to 23, thus the change in the scheduling and the extension in the storylines.

Details

The Suarezes travel to Mexico in an effort to help Ignacio obtain a US Visa and find out more about their true family roots, especially Ignacio's real identity.

Meanwhile, Alexis learns that a former flame she dated prior to her sex-change, Jordan, has returned...only to discover that she has now fallen for Daniel.

This episode will also introduce several more of Betty's relatives, who could make their way north of the border as recurring regulars in the second season, including Yolanda, her maternal grandmother. It will also mark the first crossover of sorts for a "Betty la Fea" charcater, as Angelica Vale's character from "La fea más bella", Leticia 'Lety' Padilla Solís, will make a special appearance.
